Industrial manufacturing enables high-precision processing of large ceramic panels with a level of accuracy that could not be guaranteed by cutting them on-site. This is because the quality and precision of a waterjet cutting system cannot be matched by conventional tools. The cut ceramic slabs are then further processed in the company’s in-house workshop. Edge finishing and bonding at the highest level of craftsmanship are hallmarks of Ceraflex products and enable custom manufacturing according to customer specifications.

A family-owned business with a long tradition

In 1964, the Mayr family founded a small tile-setting and stove-fitting business. Their craftsmanship was passed down from generation to generation, eventually leading Christian Mayr to an idea: Ceraflex. Christian’s goal has always been to create solutions that make his customers’ day-to-day work easier. He developed a system for custom-cut and prefabricated large-format ceramic tiles to increase the efficiency of craftsmanship businesses. At the same time, end customers benefit from shorter work hours and faster installation. In 2017, the idea was brought to life in collaboration with Walter Schweiger, and the company Ceraflex was born. Today, we enjoy the trust of a wide range of female tradespeople, homeowners, and businesses. Our primary goal is and always will be to be a good and reliable partner who makes life easier for our customers.
